Cookie Policy

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the data subject's terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored and then transmitted back to the site the next time the same user visits. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user's hard drive or transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's web browser. Some of the functions of cookies may be delegated to other technologies. In this document the term 'cookies' is intended to refer both to cookies, properly so called, and to all similar technologies.

By means of cookies, it is possible to record information about your preferences, such as the pages you browse or the downloading of files from our site or other similar actions taken while browsing our site.

FIRST- OR THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Cookies may be first- or third-party, where “first-party” means cookies developed by the Site Owner itself, and “third-party” means cookies developed by Third Parties with respect to the Site Owner.

They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be divided into:

  • analytical cookies with anonymous user data (e.g.: browsing IP), assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the operator of the site to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the performance of the site;

  • functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. Users' prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies (more information in the section Cookie Management below).

  • Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies, used to trace back to specific, identified or identifiable subjects specific actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the offered functionalities (pattern) in order to group the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different width, so that it is also possible for the owner to modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalized way beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as to send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of web browsing.

In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control over individual cookies and cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). Quality & Information Security Policy

The delivery of quality services and the security and protection of informational assets are essential conditions for achieving K2K's business objectives.

The requirements for information security are consistent with the Organization’s objectives, and the Quality and Information Security Management System (QISMS) is the tool that allows for the identification of correct best practices and/or best-in-class methods for the continuous improvement of company quality, information sharing, proper operations, and the reduction of information-related risks to acceptable levels.

In light of this, company activities must always be conducted by ensuring adequate levels of availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information through the adoption of a formal “Quality and Information Security Management System” (QISMS), in line with the expectations of K2K's stakeholders.

In particular, the Quality and Information Security Management System applies to:

“Design, Production and Marketing of software for private clients and Public Administration, also provided in cloud mode (SaaS), in accordance with the Statement of Applicability Rev. 1.0 dated 03-03-2025, integrated with the controls provided by ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019 guidelines.”

The general objectives of the QISMS, pursued with management's commitment, are to:

  • demonstrate to stakeholders that quality services are delivered through defined and continuously improving processes;

  • demonstrate to clients the company’s ability to regularly provide secure services, maximizing business objectives;

  • minimize the risk of data loss and/or unavailability by planning and managing activities that ensure service continuity;

  • carry out continuous and appropriate risk analyses that constantly examine vulnerabilities and threats related to the system’s applicable activities;

  • comply with current laws and regulations, contractual requirements, and corporate standards and procedures;

  • promote collaboration, understanding, and awareness of the QISMS among strategic suppliers;

  • conform to the principles and controls established by ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 with their respective extensions (ISO 27017 and ISO 27018), or other standards/regulations governing the company's business activities, including, in particular, regulations concerning privacy and personal data protection (GDPR).

The entire company and its partners are involved in reporting any non-conformities regarding expected service quality results, in reporting incidents identified in terms of information security, and in reporting any weaknesses found in the QISMS. They are committed to supporting the implementation, operation, periodic review, and continuous improvement of the QISMS.

Top management is committed to pursuing, with appropriate means and resources, the objectives of this policy, with the ultimate aim of continuous improvement in the quality of its operations and the security of information in the delivery of its services.

MISSION

The organization’s vision is developed with an innovative focus: research and development of neural architectures capable of generating generative and predictive networks.

This is made possible thanks to 30 years of research dedicated to the development of sophisticated genetic algorithms based on complex mathematical functions, which allow the platform to detect events of interest through the analysis of video streams.
